In the North, the weather is cooling down, leaves have fallen, and it's time to put on the hats, gloves, scarf, long underwear, tune up the snow blower, and turn up the heat. Not!
No, it is time to get out the sunglasses, put on the shorts, suntan lotion, and flip flops. Find the beach towels, the fishing poles and plan that cruise to Tween Waters or Pelican Bay. Get the blender out and put on some Jimmy Buffet. It is time to return to Florida!
The oil leak has been capped; our beaches and waters are as wonderful as ever. The fish are biting and the weather is great. It is time to hop on the plane or head south on highway 75 or 95.

How do we Open and Close Your Home | | Many of our clients have recently asked what we mean when we say we are going to "OPEN" or "CLOSE" their residence. Here is a brief explanation of what we do when we open or close. After your departure from SWFL we "CLOSE" your residence on our next scheduled inspection. This means we turn off the main water (at the house not at the meter), also the icemaker, hot water heater, turn up the A/C and set the humidistat. We also open the dishwasher, cabinets, vanities, toilets, etc. We perform these services to conserve energy, improve ventilation, and minimize the possibility of major water damage in the case of a leak. Upon receiving notice of your next scheduled return to SWFL, we "OPEN" (turn everything back on, and resume normal operation) as a part of our next scheduled inspection, prior to your arrival.
