service company. Whether it’s your pool
guy and landscaper, or your exterminator
and the water purification company, someone
needs to monitor them while you are away.
Home Watch Group Maintenance Service can
help. We can be there to simply open a gate,
or if you wish, we can provide you with
specific information as to when and how your
home was serviced. Regardless, you benefit
from knowing that you are getting your
money’s worth.

Home Watch Group monitors the local
weather. Allow us to be your ally when
Mother Nature unleashes her fury. If a
hurricane is looming, or your community
lake is flooding, in most cases Home Watch
Group probably knows it before you do. We
will notify you if a natural disaster is imminent
and advise you of our plan.

Vehicles don’t like to sit for prolonged
amounts of time. Your fluids will begin to
settle and your hoses and belts can begin
to dry rot. With your permission Home Watch
Group will start your engines on a regular
basis. This will keep your fluids fresh and
ensure your vehicle is ready to run when
you return.

Unoccupied homes are notorious for clogging
mailboxes. Don’t let this happen to you. We
will collect your mail upon each inspection.
Per your request, Home Watch Group will
forward your mail to a secondary address.
Keep your personal mail out of harms reach
by requesting this service before your next trip.

Advertisers and publications today are
relentless in their constant barrage of flyers,
door hangers, and bagged papers. Avoid the
clutter and look of absence. We will be happy
to remove any external literature that is
present on your property. If you wish we
can forward it to you with your mail.

During each home inspection, Home Watch
Group will check your home for mold, mildew,
and internal water leaks. We will diagnose
any issues before they become problems.
After checking the interior we will inspect
your exterior for any newly formed cracks
or gaps that will inevitably let water in.

Many of your home’s features require water.
This presents a problem when they sit for a
long period of time. Home Watch group will
check your refrigerator and freezer for
proper operation. We’ll run your dishwasher
and garbage disposal. Next we’ll check your
basic plumbing and eliminate stale drain
water by running water through your sinks,
tubs and showers. Lastly, we’ll disinfect
and give your toilets a good flush to prevent
dried gaskets and water rings.

In order to utilize some lights or your home
security alarm, you will need to keep your
electric on. To avoid potential fire hazards,
Home Watch Group will inspect your
electrical panel for tripped circuit breakers.
We’ll check and reset appliances after power
interruption. Finally, we’ll verify that your
air conditioning and smoke alarms are
functioning properly.

Before your inspection is over Home Watch
Group will give your exterior grounds a
good once-over. We’ll check for evidence
of rodents or insects, make sure your
sprinklers are functioning correctly, and
most importantly, verify that your exterior
lighting is working properly.

After each maintenance inspection, Home
Watch Group will provide you with a detail
report outlining the services rendered. We
will also include pictures or notes for any
monitoring or potential problems that have
arisen. Your report can be emailed, mailed
via US postal service or faxed to your remote
location; it’s your call.
